Advice for how to get STBX to leave me alone?
Split after a short marriage, no or shared property. STBX left to be with someone else. They are already engaged and expecting a little one. After 1.5-2 months of separation STBX & special friend lived together. I moved far away and hid my address. I began receiving s from STBX ranting to the tune of "You are evil! You are Satan!! Admit it! Tell me how bad you are, I want to hear you say it!!" -- I'm paraphrasing, but that's the gist. I changed my phone numbers. When the old numbers stopped working, the STBX began ing my mother and grandmother with the same rants. Both refused to talk to him. I began getting emails that were equally stupid. Sent a reply telling STBX not to contact me or my family members, and to please relay any real messages through my attorney. I provided all my attorney's contact information. However STBX did not understand that "Do not contact me or my family" actually meant that STBX should back off. Instead I continued to get emails from STBX, and both my mother and grandmother continued to receive phone s. Though this was annoying as hell, I figured it would pass once STBX settled into life with the new special friend & their fetus. STBX tosed out a lot of hostility and aggression but no threats, so I did not pursue any variety of restraining order. Two more months have elapsed and the "final" hearing for our divorce is imminent. STBX has continued ing my mother, and my employer began to receive a few s daily demanding my address and phone number. My doctor's office received a similar series of s. Though I have no actual proof, I'm sure it's the STBX hounding my employer and doctor. So my question is this -- The STBX has a new special-friend, they are engaged, expecting, and living together. I am not seeking alimony or property. I have not contacted STBX, nor STBX's family/friends/special-friend, and have not responded to any of STBX's outbursts except to tell him once to my lawyer, which he never did. STBX has made no demands or requests of me (nothing like "Let me see my !!" that some couples face) I don't care for explanations as to why STBX is acting this way. What I care about is whether there's any advice on how I might get STBX to simply leave me alone? Help/Advice?
